Airgas acquires Merriam-Graves Corporation

Dear Valued Customer:

We are very pleased to announce that Merriam-Graves Corporation has joined forces with Airgas, Inc., the nation’s leading distributor of industrial, medical, and specialty gases and related supplies and services.  Effective February 1, 2008, all 24 Merriam-Graves locations are now part of Airgas East, the regional company within Airgas spanning New England to northern Virginia.

The entire Merriam-Graves team, led by Scott and Kit Wakeman, has joined Airgas East.  We look forward to continuing to provide you with the products and service you expect, supported with continued great service by people you know, backed by the resources of Airgas.

Please continue to place orders for industrial, medical, and specialty gases, and related supplies and services by contacting the same Merriam-Graves location and the same representatives you have used in the past.  You can continue to place your orders by phone or fax using the existing telephone numbers.  You should continue to send your payments to the same remittance address.  We will send you information in the coming months that will outline changes in remittance instructions.

Worcester store merged.

Effective January 31, 2008, operations formerly conducted at our offices at 234 Brook Street in Worcester, MA, have been merged into Merriam-Graves locations at 1274 Merrimack Ave. in Dracut, MA, and 1361 Union St. in West Springfield, MA.
